Quick and Easy Snack – Blueberry Cacao Chip Mugcake

Hello everyone!!

I have been slacking a bit with my posts :X…I plan on being more diligent with my blog :). Here is my FAV go to snack, when I want a quick high protein sweet snack 🙂  There are all types of mug cake variations out there on Pinterest and Instagram, and I have tried many (some successes, some not so much :P).  After many experiments this is the recipe I am most happy with!

My New FAV Turkey Meatball Recipe

Recently on Instagram, I had seen some posts on some amazing looking meatball recipes. I have never made my own meatballs before, so I decided to give it a try, and I’m so happy I did, because they turned out amazing!!! So of course, I wanted to share this recipe with you all! 🙂

I pretty much followed a recipe from a blog I found on Pinterest (He and She Eat Clean: Clean Eating Power Meatballs), and made a few tweaks of my own :

P90X2 Vegan Lettuce Wraps!

Hello everyone!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I purchased the P90X2 Nutrition Guide (on eBay), and have been trying out some of the vegan recipes they have in there.  I wanted to share my experience with their Vegan Lettuce Wraps.  I mostly followed the recipe from the nutrition guide, but made a few tweaks, as you will see below 😉

Superfood: Chia Seed & Strawberry Chia Seed Pudding Recipe!

Chia seeds are one of my all-time favorite super foods. I love how versatile they are; you can add them to oatmeal recipes, protein bar recipes, add them to smoothies, make chia pudding (which I’ll get to in a little bit ;)), etc. etc. These tiny seeds are a powerhouse of omega-3’s, protein, antioxidants, and fiber. Their high omega-3 content helps reduce inflammation, enhance cognitive performance and reduce high cholesterol. The fiber in chia seeds assists in removing toxins, regulating bowel function and blood sugar levels.
