New Home, New Training

So, I know it has been too long since I have written a post, however, there have been some HUGE changes in my life that last few months.

First and foremost, I now live in a different city!! :]  I sold my house and made a big move down to the beautiful city of Miami!

I have been here a little over a month, and I must say, I am LOVING every minute of it :].  Not to say that selling my house and moving out of state was any fun, in fact, it was extremely stressful, and there were times, I just wanted to sit in a corner and cry, BUT with amazing friends (SM & KD) to lean on and lot’s of faith (Philippians 4:13), I pulled through :], and wow was it worth it 😉

So now that I am finally starting to feel settled into my new home, I am slowly getting back on track, cooking (new recipes to come soon!) and started a new training regimen 🙂

Current Training Regimen:

I have decided to follow Jamie Eason’s LiveFit 12 Week Training program again, since I saw amazing results the first time I tried it (I was the fittest I have EVER been and got down to 14% body fat!).  I am currently on Week 3, and will continue to share my progress and experiences as I progress through it.

In addition, I have decided to get back into my running and signed up for the Michelob ULTRA Miami Beach Half Marathon!  I used to run at least 3-4 events a year, and I miss the thrill of participating in these events and the sense of pride you feel when you cross that finish line and get your bling 😛  This will be my FIRST event since running the Walt Disney World Marathon and hurting my knee :/ (I have patellar tendonitis).  I won’t lie I am a little anxious to see how my knee will handle training again – but I am going to stay positive, dedicate myself to stretching properly and getting on the dreaded foam roller at least 4 times a week, and overcoming this challenge! 🙂

Plus, I think it’s time to add to my bling collection again 😛

I will be following the following Half Marathon Training program – which starts this WEEK!:

Feels good to be back!
