Broiled Spicy Tilapia

Ok so this is my BEST tilapia recipe EVER, so far 😛  I even tried this recipe with chicken and it was also delish :).  However, today we’ll focus on the tilapia version ;).

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp of dried oregano
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt (or sea salt)
  • 2 tbspn of organic grapeseed oil
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 fillets of tilapia (about 4oz. each)

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  • In one bowl mix the spices together (first four ingredients)
  • In a second bowl mix the grapeseed oil with the juice of the lemon
  • Dip the tilapia in the grapeseed oil/lemon mix, then coat the tilapia fillet with the spices in the other bowl (see images below):

  • Place the tilapia fillets in the pyrex dish and then pour remaining mixture over them
  • Place in oven for about 15 minutes – and enjoy! 🙂
